Other Info / Weather/Conditions:
*For Private Lessons: I request at least a 24 hr notice in the event you need to cancel, more if possible, so that I can rebook your time slot if I can.
Since we’re working outside, weather and ground conditions need to be factored in. Unsafe conditions (like thunderstorms, ice, extreme weather, etc) means we’ll have to reschedule. I will email you early in the morning.
PLEASE check your email before you leave your house. Be sure I have your mobile number in case I need to contact you. My mobile number is 312-608-5567, you can text or vm.
Please arrive apx 5-10 minutes before your appointment so you can walk your dog. There is no inside place to wait while I finish with the appointment before you, so don’t come too early!! There is a porta-potty there in the parking area for your use, and you can potty your dog around the parking area.
26524 S. Cedar Rd, Manhattan IL. It’s on the west side of the road, grey barn, wood horse fencing, Dancing Hearts sign in front at the road, number is on the mail box. Open and pull through the right driveway gate (it opens towards the parking area, away from you) and park on the gravel anywhere.
Please don’t park in the driveway (clients before and after you need to pull into/out of the parking area) – open the gate and pull into the parking area, then close the gate again after you’ve parked.
(Please note that Gallagher Road is re-named Bruns Road in Manhattan.)
VIDEO TAPING YOUR DOG GUIDELINES:
Private video taping during the workshop is restricted. Video recording of only your own dog’s working sessions are permitted, and may not be shared, duplicated, distributed, or posted on the internet and are for personal viewing only. Short video clips of a minute or two of you and your dog working MAY be approved for sharing in a limited and specified manner, (such as Facebook) only after the short clip is submitted and reviewed by Kathy Kawalec. Thank you for your cooperation!!
That’s it! I’m looking forward to meeting you then!
